This cake is like heaven on a fork. My friend, Tammy, brought this cake to us while I was recovering from surgery. After one bite I had to get the recipe.
Ingredients
Cake:
1 box Duncan Hines chocolate fudge cake mix, baked according to package directions
Frosting:
1 stick butter
1/3 c milk
4 tbsp cocoa (level tablespoons)
1 box powdered sugar (approximately 4 cups)
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Bake the cake according to package directions. When the cake is about 3-5 minutes from being done, start on the frosting. Heat butter, milk, & cocoa until melted (low heat). Whisk continually. Pour mixture over sugar & vanilla in mixing bowl. Mix with mixer until blended & pour over hot cake (you may want to stick the cake with a tooth pick so it can sink in a little bit).
